Mommy makeover cost in Las Vegas: how a quote is built

Search for a mommy makeover price and you will find single numbers everywhere. None of them can be your price, because no two plans contain the same procedures. This guide explains how a quote is put together, gives the national surgeon’s fee range for each part with its source and year, and lists the questions that make two quotes comparable.

A free referral service, Mommy Makeover Las Vegas is not a clinic: a request sent from this page reaches an independent plastic surgery office in the Las Vegas Valley, which sets its own prices and answers for its own care.

Why no one can quote you a single number

To ASPS, a mommy makeover combines procedures drawn from breast augmentation, breast lift, tummy tuck, liposuction, buttock augmentation and labiaplasty. A plan might include two of them or five. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons publishes fee figures for individual procedures, but no fee line for a mommy makeover as a whole.

The national ranges, part by part

Each figure below is the surgeon’s fee alone, from the ASPS 2024 statistics, which give a projected national range for each procedure. ASPS says the ranges reflect members’ different locations and practice settings.

ProcedureSurgeon’s fee only, ASPS 2024 national range
Tummy tuck$8,000 to $13,500
Liposuction$4,300 to $7,500
Breast lift$6,500 to $11,000
Breast augmentation with implants$4,575 to $8,000
Buttock augmentation with fat grafting (BBL)$7,000 to $11,500

Do not add these up

These ranges are for each procedure on its own. A combined operation is quoted as one plan, and ASPS notes that combining procedures can cut the total cost, so a sum of the rows is not an estimate of anything.

What the figures leave out

ASPS warns that its figure is only one piece of the bill. Left out of it:

  • Anesthesia.
  • The operating room or surgery facility.
  • Medical tests before surgery.
  • Post-surgery garments.
  • Prescription medicines.
  • For breast augmentation, the implants themselves.

So the quote from a Las Vegas office will usually be higher than the surgeon’s fee alone. Ask for each item by name, so you can see what is included and what would be billed separately.

What moves a surgeon’s fee

Per ASPS, three things move a surgeon’s fee: experience, the kind of procedure and where the office is. Beyond that, the size of the plan matters most: how many procedures, how long the operation takes and whether you stay overnight. Las Vegas offices set their own prices, and this site has none of its own.

Combining or staging, and what it does to cost

Doing several procedures in one operation, ASPS notes, means less total time under anesthesia, a lower total cost and one recovery instead of several. The same article reports broad agreement among surgeons that anesthesia time should stay at six hours or less, and a longer operation with more healing sites adds risk, including blood clots. When a plan would run too long, some surgeons stage it in two operations. That can bring a second set of facility and anesthesia fees and a second recovery, so ask for a quote both ways if staging is suggested.

The guides to the tummy tuck, liposuction, BBL and body contouring explain what each part does, which helps you decide what belongs in your plan before you compare prices.

Costs that are not on the quote

Recovery has costs of its own. ASPS notes you may need help with childcare for a while, and Cleveland Clinic says most people take at least a week off work after a tummy tuck. Paid help, unpaid leave and meals all belong in the budget. If you would travel to Las Vegas, add a stay long enough for the follow-up visits your surgeon wants in person.

Questions that make quotes comparable

  1. Which procedures does this quote include, exactly?
  2. Are anesthesia and the facility included, and who provides each?
  3. Are garments, tests and medicines included?
  4. If implants are planned, is their cost included?
  5. Do you charge for the consultation, and does that count toward surgery?
  6. When is a deposit due, and is it refundable?
  7. What would a revision cost, if one were needed?
  8. Would staging change the total, and how?

If breast implants are part of the plan

Breast implant labeling has carried an FDA boxed warning since October 2021, and the FDA now requires a patient decision checklist: your surgeon walks you through it before the operation, and you both sign it. In the FDA’s words, breast implants are not considered lifetime devices: complications and further operations grow likelier the longer you have them, and that is a cost to plan for too. According to ASPS, implants are usually replaced or taken out roughly every 10 to 15 years, as each patient’s needs dictate.

FDA material covers BIA-ALCL, a lymphoma seen more often with textured implants, as well as reported cases of squamous cell carcinoma, and of other lymphomas, found in the scar capsule that forms around an implant. It says symptoms such as fatigue, memory loss, rash, brain fog and joint pain may be associated with breast implants and are still being studied. Read the FDA page on breast implant risks before you decide.

Checking who you pay

Before any deposit, confirm certification through the ABPS surgeon search, the Nevada license on the State Board of Medical Examiners lookup, and ask whether the facility is accredited. A low quote that skips those checks is not a saving.

Questions people ask

How much will my mommy makeover cost in Las Vegas?

Your plan is priced by the office you choose. ASPS has no single mommy makeover figure; it gives a national surgeon’s fee range per part, for example a tummy tuck at $8,000 to $13,500 in 2024.

Why not just add the ranges together?

Because a combined operation is quoted as one plan, and ASPS notes combining can cut total cost. A sum of separate fees does not describe any real quote.

What is not included in the ASPS figures?

Anesthesia, the facility, tests, garments, prescriptions and, for augmentation, the implants. They cover the surgeon’s fee only.

Is it cheaper to do everything at once?

Usually, in total: ASPS notes combining trims anesthesia time, cost and recovery. A longer operation adds risk, though, and your surgeon weighs one against the other.

Is there a consultation fee?

Offices differ. Before booking, ask if one applies and if it comes off the surgery fee later.

Does insurance cover a mommy makeover?

This site could not confirm coverage for any part of it. Ask the office and your insurer directly.
